"Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed because we can trust God to do what he has promised" (Hebrews 10:23).
Find your hope in God. Give him your trust and he will transform and complete your life. The reflection question today was "Do you know the joy of trust and submission to God? Well that is a tough question for me. I feel I submit to him daily by spending time with him, building my relationship and getting into his word. However there are so many other aspects of my life where trust and submission to God are nowhere to be found. I want to be in control therefore I handle it instead of bringing my trials, troubles, and thoughts to God first. I wonder sometimes if I would just stop and ask God for help instead of forging ahead alone how different my life and the challenges in them would be. Do you trust and submit to God? On this feast of the Lord's baptism let us agree together to do so more frequently.
