"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. New beginnings they can be scary but in many ways it's a fresh start. A time to reflect on the past year and make new goals to work towards in the coming year. I'm terrible with keeping New Year's resolutions. As soon as I make one it will be something that I can guarantee you won't get accomplished, well except for when I said I would spend ten (10) minutes in God's word daily and build a relationship with him. That resolution was made two years ago today and with the exception of a day for rest here or me being sick or traveling there, I have stuck with this resolution. In fact my ten minutes is now somewhere in the neighborhood of about an hour and half per day. It was the best resolution I could have ever made, he has made me new and walks with me every day. Today as we embark on a new year I encourage you to grow your relationship with God in whatever way he is calling you to do it. Sit quietly in his presence daily and talk to him about everything. You will be amazed at how he shows up and shows out in your life. Be made new in Jesus, start today! May you be blessed with peace, happiness, and a better connection with God in this new year, find the courage and time to put God in the center of your life and then sit back and watch him work.
